Let it snow!!! The Build-a Snowman game is here!! Or should I say build a Snow Family. :)
What fun the family will have with this game over the holidays. The perfect game to take along to a family get together. Everything fits in this easy little in-the-hoop tote.
Build a Snowman is similar to the Build a Bunny and Build a Turkey sets. I got so many emails, asking for more holiday versions because the Build a Bunny and Build a Turkey were so much fun!! So here it is!! Get out your mittens, grab a cup of cocoa and start making snowballs!
Jack wanted a sports themed snowman, as Lexi wanted some bling bling, (ahh, taking after Mommy.)
Meet our Snow Family...
I did this entire set with felt, but think it would be adorable done in different cotton fabric prints. Everything fits in the 4x4 hoop except the game bag.
The game bag comes in 2 sizes. One for the 5x7 hoop, and one for the 6x10 hoop.
Everything is done in the hoop with no additional sewing. (unless you want to sew on buttons like I did.) I am also including snowman bodies with embroidered buttons, dots, and hearts, (not shown) so you can skip adding rhinestones and real buttons. The Fringe on the scarf is even done in the hoop.
The bottom snowball is 4"x4"
This set comes with a complete tutorial, with pictures along the way.
You will need:
One complete Snowperson for each player
1 Die
Rules
Youngest Player goes first on the first game. Each player will use only one die.
Each Player takes turns rolling the dice.
Roll the die until you get a 1
If you roll a 1, select a Snow Face, if not, your turn is over.
Roll again if you just rolled a 1.
Once you have your Snow Face you can get everything else in random order until you complete your Snow Person:
Try to roll 2’s. Each roll will allow you to add a snowball.
Try to roll two 3's. Each roll will allow you to add a Hat or a Bow
Try to roll 4's. Each roll will allow you to add one arm
Try to roll 5's. Each roll will allow you to add a scarf
If you roll a 6, you need to put one part back.
(Pick any part you like)
The first person to have a completed Snow person wins!!
